The United Nations website states that “the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)... are an urgent call for action by all countries – developed and developing – in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.”

Every Mother Counts

This organization’s mission is to make pregnancy and childbirth safe, equitable, and respectful for every mother, everywhere. 800+ women die every day from complications related to pregnancy and childbirth,– yet almost all are preventable. Every Mother Counts envisions a world where all women have the opportunity to enter motherhood and not only survive, but thrive. It achieves this mission by giving grants and working with partners and thought leaders to increase awareness and mobilize communities to take action.

Every Mother Counts has gone all-in with Give Lively digital fundraising tech, starting with a Give Lively Simple Widget to collect donations on its website.

Bridge to Türkiye

Bridge to Türkiye Fund is devoted to mobilizing donor communities and generating philanthropic resources benefiting the socio-economically disadvantaged segments of Turkish society, with an emphasis on children’s education and health care. The vision of Bridge to Türkiye Fund (BTF) is to unite people and give back as a community. The organization attempts to leverage individuals in the Turkish diaspora who believe in the power of investing together for education and building better futures for underserved youth in Turkey. BTF maintains a portfolio of carefully vetted Turkish nongovernmental organizations and localized projects so donors can support great causes easily and safely from abroad.

Bridge to Tukiye uses a Give Lively Simple Widget to capture donations on its website and a Campaign Page for its Scholarship Program.

The Baobab Home

Founded in 2004, this small, community-focused NGO is located on a 12-acre farm outside of Bagamoyo, Tanzania. The mission of The Baobab Home is to help children from families affected by HIV/AIDS, mental illness and poverty. Although The Baobab Home originally started as an orphanage, it expanded its focus to help improve the Bagamoyo community when the founders saw that most children were not orphaned, but rather came from homes that could no longer support children due to issues related to HIV/AIDS, mental illness and poverty. Its approach is holistic: to come up with sustainable solutions that take into account the various social, economic and psychological aspects of disadvantaged situations. In 2012, The Baobab Home expanded its services to include the Steven Tito Academy (STA), a primary school that serves the kids of The Baobab Home and the local community by providing high-quality, safe, English-medium education to those who need it.

AIDS Outreach Center

This organization was founded by volunteers in 1986 to help HIV+ individuals in Fort Worth, Texas, deal with end-of-life issues. Today, AIDS Outreach Center (AOC) stands as the largest 501(c)3 nonprofit AIDS service organization in Tarrant County in the fight against HIV. Through a holistic approach of outreach, prevention and community information programs, AOC educates the public about HIV prevention while offering free and/or low-cost services to HIV+ individuals and their families.

Sabin Vaccine Institute

This organization aims to build a future free from vaccine-preventable diseases. Sabin Vaccine Institute works to make vaccines more accessible, enable innovation and expand immunization across the globe. It does this by supporting the professionals most responsible for ensuring all communities receive the maximum benefit vaccines can deliver. Sabin Vaccine Institute works with partners to better understand and address barriers to vaccine acceptance, demand and delivery; bolster professional collaboration; foster action to develop new and universal vaccines; and better apply epidemiology to maximize vaccine rollout effectiveness.

Caroline Symmes Inc

This organization aims to raise crucial funds for researchers at Riley Hospital for Children in Indiana. Less than 5% of the federal government’s total annual funding for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancers, resulting in a lack of attention to it. The research funded by the Caroline Symmes Endowment is centered around learning more about pediatric Non-CNS Solid Tumors, or tumors in children that occur outside the central nervous system (CNS) in places like bone, muscle and vital organs. According to Dr. Jamie Renbarger, Section Chief of Hematology/Oncology at Riley Children’s Health, research into how to cure these instances is almost nonexistent, even though the tumors are often the most aggressive.
